Eastern Cottonmouth
Is a venomous snake that resides around shallow slow moving lakes, ponds, streams and rivers. While they do not live in water, they are excellent swimmers.
The eastern cottonmouth is most active during the evening hours, and often spends their days coiled up under logs and bank undercuts.
This snake's diet usually consists of fish, small mammals, lizards, frogs and other snakes.
