Hunting and Fishing Law and Safety Workshop
About This Workshop: The instructor for this session will be Person County Game Warden, David Midgett. Game laws can be confusing, but this workshop will help clarify new and existing laws so that hunters and fishermen can make sure they are in compliance and avoid ticketing. Basic hunter and water safety principles that will help keep you and the community you hunt or fish in safe will also be reviewed during this session. In addition to outdoor safety, Mr. Midgett will discuss interesting facts about wildlife.
When: On Monday, February 8, 2010, from 6:00-7:00pm
Where: Mayo Park Environmental Education and Community Center at 1013 Neal’s Store Road, Roxboro, NC 27574
Registration: Pre registration is required, and space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your seat and outdoor information packet. Registration ends Friday, February 5, 2010.
