Dan River Canoe/Kayak Trip
The Person County Recreation, Arts, and Parks Department will be sponsoring a canoe trip on the Dan River on Saturday, October 24, 2009. Fees for this trip are $13.00 per person or $20.00 per person for non residents. Fees include transportation, canoe, guide, and the shuttle up and down the river.
Vans will depart from the Huck Sansbury Recreation Complex at 9:00 am and will return at 4:00 pm. The canoe tour will be guided by Mayo Park Rangers.
Participants may register online at http://mayo.personcounty.net/, at the Mayo Park office, or by phone using a credit card. Registration for this event is limited to 12 participants, so be sure to register soon! Registration ends October 16, 2009
