Boating Safety Workshop at Mayo Park
Workshop Information
The speaker for this workshop will be Leon Hudgins of the Durham Sail and Power Squadron. Mr. Hudgins has been involved with the power squadron’s boating safety efforts for five years, and currently serves as the squadron’s education and safety officer. During his presentation, Mr. Hudgins will discuss the basic, but often overlooked, boating safety practices, techniques and standards that will keep you and your family safe on the water. Mr. Hudgins’ presentation will include a short video, and will include time for questions and discussion. Pre registration is required, and space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your seat and boater’s safety information kit. There is no fee for this event
