“7th Annual Mayo Park Bass Classic”
The Person County Recreation, Arts, and Parks Department will be sponsoring Mayo Park’s 7th Annual Bass Tournament at Mayo Lake. The Mayo Park Bass Classic will be a team bass tournament held Saturday, April 19, 2008 with a 7:00 am launch and 3:00 pm weigh-in.
The tournament registration fee is $75 per boat (one or two person teams), and will also feature an optional $10.00 Lunker Pot/Big Fish Pot. The late fee will be $10 for registrations the day of the tournament. The tournament will be based on 80% payback, and 1 place for every 6 boats. Pre-Registration deadline is Friday, April 18, 2008 at 5:00 pm. Cash or Credit cards only after Saturday, April 4, 2008. Registration the day of the tournament will take place at the Mayo Park Boat Landing from 6am until 6:45 am. There will be a $10 late fee for same day registrations. (Entry fees in cash form only the day of the tournament). To register in person, teams can do so at the Mayo Park office during regular business hours.

Pre-registrations can also be made at the Mayo Park Office/Ranger Station or over the phone by using your Visa/Master card ($3.00 convenience charge).
