10th Annual Youth Fishing Derby
When: Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
Who: The derby is open to youth between the ages of 5 and 12.
Fee: There is no charge for admission, and lunch is provided at noon. Prizes will be awarded for the longest, shortest, largest, smallest, and most fish caught. There will also be door prizes and free tackle kit grab bags.
If you don’t have a rod and reel we’ll provide them. To make sure we have one available for you, early registration is strongly recommended. Participants may register early at the Mayo Park Office at 1013 Neal’s Store Road during regular business hours, or by calling the Mayo Park Office at 336-597-7806. Registration the day of the derby will be held at the Mayo Park Boat Landing Picnic Shelter. An adult must accompany all participants.
