3rd Annual Mayo Boat Day

About This Event: All boaters are welcome to bring and show any type of vessels including, but by no means limited to: bass boats, saltwater boats, sailboats, canoes, kayaks, handmade vessels, vintage water crafts, speed boats, and hobby boats. This is a fantastic opportunity for all boat enthusiasts to bring out their prized vessels and show them off to everyone. There is no fee to show your vessel.
Various exhibitors will also be present, and a certified boat mechanic will be on hand to answer all your questions.
Mayo Boat Day t-shirts will be available for sale. Food vendors will also be present beginning at 11 am. Parking and viewing space is limited so call the Mayo Park Offices to register for your spot.
Safety Screenings: The Durham Sail and Power Squadron will be on site to conduct free boat safety screenings. Participants in these screenings will also receive a free boater’s safety information packet.
Admission: There is no charge for admission.
When: Saturday, May 22, 2010, 10:00am-2:00pm
Where: Outside at the Mayo Park Environmental Education and Community Center near the boat landing at 1013 Neal’s Store Road, and the Mayo Park Amphitheatre.
