Disc Golf Lessons for Beginners at Mayo Park

What is Disc Golf? According to the Professional Disc Golf Association, "The object of disc golf is to traverse a course [of disc golf baskets]  from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc."  Disc golf is one of the fastest growing competitive and recreational sports in America today, and it is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.

About This Session: During this session, participants will learn the basics of style, technique, rules, and equipment that everyone needs to know whether you plant to play recreationally, or in competition.

When: Thursday, June 17 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm.

Where: The Mayo Park Disc Golf Course. Participants should meet the instructor at the Mayo Park Environmental Education and Community Center at 1013 Neal’s Store Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.

Fees:  $5.00 per person for residents, or $7.50 per person for non residents. Registration ends June 15. Discs will be provided.
