Race Information
This test of endurance will begin near the Mayo Park ADA Fishing Pier, where participants will race their canoes and kayaks along the shores of Mayo Park for an approximate distance of 2.5 miles. After completing the canoe/kayak portion, participants will then run along the Mayo Park Trail System for an approximate distance of three miles. The Canoe and Kayakalon will be divided by gender categories, and age divisions will include: 16 & under, 17-39, and 40 & over.
Registration & Fees
Early registration is $10.00 per person, or $20.00per team. All early registrations include lunch. The first 30 pre registrations include an event tee shirt.
Registration the day of the race is $15.00 per person, or $30.00 per team, and will take place from 8:30 am to 9:45am at the Mayo Park ADA Fishing Pier. Lunch is an additional $5.00 for those who register the day of the race.
Participants may register online at http://mayo.personcounty.net/, at the Mayo Park office, or by phone using a credit card. Mayo Park vessel rentals are limited to four single kayaks, two tandem kayaks, and six canoes at a cost of $5.00 per vessel for residents or $7.50 per vessel for non residents. Early registration ends June 25, 2010.
