Mayo Park Birdhouse Building and Habitat Project
During this special event conducted by Mayo Park Rangers, you will help birds in Person County by building them houses! We’ll provide the wood, nails, tools and everything you need to build a bird house that is suitable for many common species of birds.
When: Saturday, June 12, 2010, from 2:00pm-3:00pm
Where: This event will be held outside at the Mayo Park Environmental Education and Community Center at 1013 Neal’s Store Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
Fees: For residents, the fee for this event is $15.00per person or $10.00 if you donate the birdhouse to Mayo Park. For non residents, the fee for this workshop is $22.50 per person or $15.00 per person if you donate the birdhouse to Mayo Park.
Registration: Registration ends Wednesday, June 9, 2010, so be sure to register early to secure your seat and bird house building supplies. All ages are welcomed, but participants 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Participants for this event are limited to 10.
