9th Annual Mayo Park Bass Classic
The Person County Recreation, Arts, and Parks Department will be sponsoring Mayo Park’s 9th Annual Bass Tournament at Mayo Lake. The Mayo Park Bass Classic will be a team bass tournament held Saturday, April 24 2010 with a 7:00 am launch and 3:00 pm weigh in.
Fees: The tournament registration fee is $75 per boat (one or two person teams), and will also feature an optional $10.00 Lunker /big fish Pot with a 100% payback. The tournament will be based on 80% payback, and 1 place for every 6 boats.
Registration: To register in person, teams can do so at the Mayo Park office at 1013 Neal’s Store Road during regular business hours. For registrations through the mail, send your registration form to: Mayo Park, Person County Recreation, Arts and Parks, 425 Long Avenue, Roxboro, North Carolina 27573. Please mail registration forms five days prior to tournament deadline to assure team launch time. Pre-registration may also be done over the phone with a credit card, or online at the link below. The pre-registration deadline is Friday, April 23, 2010 at 5:00 pm. Cash or credit cards only after Thursday, April 8, 2010.
Registration the day of the tournament will take place at the Mayo Park Boat Landing from 6am until 6:45 am. There will be an additional $10.00 late fee for teams registering the day of the tournament. Entry fees will be accepted in cash only the day of the tournament.
