"Keep'em Alive and Fighting"

 

A Report from Wayne 3/4/2010:

Fished Mayo on Thursday, March 4th., caught a 19-1/2 in pickerel
between two points (north of ramp) on a green/white crankbait in 15 to
20 ft., water temp was 40F. Also caught a 3lb. 2oz. LMB south of bridge 49 on a ghost color crankbait in 15ft. of water, water temp. was 43F.
Did not mark any fish on points. I did mark fish in 15 to 40 ft. of water off points and in main channels.
 

Hunter Miller and one of more than a dozen crappie he caught at Mayo Lake.

The 2009 Mayo Park Crappie Tournament Winners: Bobby Newton, Ronald Henderson, Lori Henderson of Roxboro, NC.

Total Weight: 4.80 pounds. Team Henderson also won the Big Fish pot with a fish weighing in at 1.53 pounds.

Second Place was taken by Barry Regan and Terry Henderson of Roxboro, NC with a total weight of 4.14 pounds.
